Sustainability

The Bugaboo Butterfly 2 is our most sustainable Bugaboo stroller thanks to the smart design, the use of bio-based material and recycled aluminum.

Recycled aluminum. The tube are made of 60% recycled aluminum that has the same quality as you can expect from Bugaboo products.
Bio-based plastic. The engineering plastic parts are made from bio-based plastics which are plastics derived from renewable biological sources. This decreased the environmental impact associated with conventional plastics.
Footprint. Compared to our previous model, the footprint of the Bugaboo Butterfly 2 reduces with -30% to deliver on our strategy Push to Zero. This commits Bugaboo to reduce its CO2 emissions to zero by 2035, ensuring we are building on a better future.
