From birth babies have a natural sucking reflex. It is not only a vital reflex for the baby to get food but sucking also has a calming effect on the baby, reminding the baby of something safe and familiar in an otherwise foreign world. Sucking both lowers the heart rate, blood pressure, and stress levels and it even has a pain-relieving effect. Because of the calming effect sucking entails, a pacifier can make it easier for the baby to sleep, soothe the baby if it is distraught, and provide security when being upset.
When it comes to the nipple no size or shape is right or wrong because all babies are different. It can be necessary to try out different shapes and sizes to find the perfect fit for your child. Some babies prefer a certain nipple shape, size, or material while others do not have any preferences and will take whatever shape, size, and material you offer. Babies have different preferences, different sucking techniques, and different mouth anatomy. Therefore, we offer different pacifiers that meet all these different needs.
In the BIBS Try-it Collection you get a pacifier from our 4 different categories with a selection of all our nipple types (round, symmetrical and anatomical) and materials (natural rubber latex and silicone). For you and your baby to test and find your preferred BIBS pacifier.

In-store pickup: You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup for all in-stock items at 127 Main Street, Vista, CA 92084. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 2 to 4 hours. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. Our in-store pickup hours are 9a-4p from Monday through Saturday.
Local delivery:Â We offer free local delivery for orders of in-stock items over $35 within a 6 mile radius of our store. We will send you an email when your order is ready to be delivered.Â
Shipping:Â Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.Â
We ship USPS Priority Mail:Â Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Returns: We do our very best to provide quality products you will love. If you are not satisfied with your order, we accept returns of new & unused items in original packaging, with receipt or proof of purchase within 30 days of receiving your merchandise.
All gift cards, clearance items, gear and gear accessories, special orders, and some health and personal care items are final sale and non-refundable.Â
If you need to return any items, you can return them in-store or contact us with your order number at rochelle@babies-in-bloom.com and you will be given return instructions through email. You will be given a full refund in the amount you paid for your merchandise minus shipping costs which we unfortunately cannot refund. Customer is responsible for any additional shipping costs. Return labels will not be provided.Â
Exchanges: Our customers are very important to us and we want you to be satisfied. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, contact us with your order number at rochelle@babies-in-bloom.com and you will be given return instructions through email. Â
